We'Wha was a mixed-gender (born male but lived as a woman), Zuni Native American known for being the most famous lhamana. We'Wha is the subject of the book The Zuni Man-Woman by Will Roscoe. One of the anthropologists close to her described her as “…the strongest character and the most intelligent of the Zuni tribe.” We’Wha a cultural ambassador for her people, as well as an accomplished Zuni Weaver and potter.
