1. Geographically and demographically speaking, the International Transgender Historical Society Hall of Fame defines “International” as being anywhere in the world. Due to this, any individual can be nominated or inducted into the Transgender Hall of Fame, regardless of where they are from or live.
  2. Individuals can be nominated for possible induction into the Transgender Hall of Fame by either the general public or by the International Transgender Historical Society Hall of Fame Board of Directors.
  3. Though individuals can be nominated for possible induction into the Transgender Hall of Fame by the general public, the final decision as to who is nominated and/or inducted into the Transgender Hall of Fame is left up to the desecration of the International Transgender Historical Society Hall of Fame Board of Directors.
  4. Nominees/Inductees into the International Transgender Historical Society Hall of Fame can be either a pre-operation or post-operation male to female or female to male transgender, transsexual, transvestite, or cross-dresser.
  5. Nominees/Inductees into the International Transgender Historical Society Hall of Fame can be a non transgender, transsexual, transvestite, or cross-dresser as long as the nominee/inductee has made a significant impact on the transgender community, or has made a significant effort to further the cause of transgender rights. It will be left up to the discretion and interpretation of the International Transgender Historical Society Hall of Fame Board of Directors as to whether or not they feel a particular non transgender, transsexual, transvestite, or cross-dressing nominee/inductee has made a significant effort to further the cause of transgender rights.
  6. Nomination for possible induction into the Transgender Hall of Fame does not guarantee induction into the Transgender Hall of Fame.
  7. There is no limit as to how many individuals can be nominated for possible induction into the Transgender Hall of Fame each year.
  8. There is no limit as to how many consecutive or non-consecutive years an individual can be nominated for possible induction into the Transgender Hall of Fame without being inducted.
  9. A nominee/Inductee may be living or deceased at time of nomination or induction.
  10. Each year the International Transgender Historical Society Hall of Fame Board of Directors will choose anywhere between 6 - 15 nominees to be officially inducted into any one (1) class of the Transgender Hall of Fame at a time.
  11. Induction into the Transgender Hall of Fame is determined by popular vote by the International Transgender Historical Society Hall of Fame Board of Directors.
  12. Only the International Transgender Historical Society Hall of Fame Board of Directors can vote on which nominees get inducted into the Transgender Hall of Fame.
  13. The International Transgender Historical Society Hall of Fame Board of Directors take the following criteria into consideration when determining eligibility of a person for nomination and/or induction into the Transgender Hall of Fame: Individuals overall impact on the transgender community, overall dedication for helping to further transgender rights, and overall popularity and/or celebrity status in popular culture. It will be left up to the discretion and interpretation of the International Transgender Historical Society Hall of Fame Board of Directors as to whether or not they feel a particular individual possesses the before mentioned criteria.
  14. At any time, the International Transgender Historical Society Hall of Fame Board of Directors retain the right to amend any and/or all of the criteria and guidelines for the nomination and/or induction process. If any amendments are made by the International Transgender Historical Society Hall of Fame Board of Directors, the amended criteria and guidelines can only take effect on the next nomination/induction class, but never on the current or any of the past nomination/induction classes.
